Chaplain (Volunteer) | Air Cadets

• Are you looking to expand your ministry to youths aged between 12 years of age and their 20th birthday?
• Do you have an interest in ministering as a Chaplain to an outside organisation?
• Do you possibly have an interest in aviation subjects?

If so, would you like to combine all three interests and become a chaplain to your local Unit of the Air Training Corps?

The Air Training Corps is a youth organisation, sponsored by the Royal Air Force, which is part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.  The AC gives training in aeronautical and space subjects plus adventurous training and many other activities which develop good citizens for now and the future.

The ATC is open to youths aged from 12 and in year 8 at school up to their 20th birthday.

There are currently a number of vacancies for ATC Chaplains throughout the Diocese of Guildford open to ordained and Licenced Ministers.  It is an ecumenical ministry for all people irrespective of denomination, faith or even of no faith.

For further information, please read the role description below or contact: Padre Charles Lewis, the Chaplain for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Note: This role is subject to DBS and safeguarding clearance; it also requires endorsement by the diocesan bishop.
