The Vacancy in See Committee is a group of lay and clergy members tasked with preparing a Statement of Needs, articulating the qualities needed in our next Bishop, and electing members from the diocese to the Crown Nominations Commission (CNC), the body that interviews candidates and ultimately appoints the next Bishop of Guildford.

Thirty-five new church leaders were ordained at Guildford Cathedral this weekend, as we welcomed our newest deacons and priests, with one further priest being ordained in his parish this week.
